4. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. As a business with ten or fewer employees we are exempt from the information duty under § 36(1) VSBG by virtue of § 36(3) VSBG.

§ 37 VSBG is unaffected: where a specific dispute with a consumer cannot be settled between us, we will name the competent arbitration board in text form and say whether we will take part.

We are responsible for our own content under the general laws (§ 7(1) DDG). We prepare it with care, but it is general information, not advice, and we do not warrant that it is complete or current. For third-party information we transmit or store we are not responsible under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, and we are under no obligation to monitor it (§ 7(2) DDG). Duties to remove content on obtaining actual knowledge of a specific infringement are unaffected, and we act promptly when we do.

This website links to sites operated by others. We have no influence over their content, do not adopt it as our own, and a link is not an endorsement. Nothing unlawful was apparent when the links were set. Continuous monitoring without a concrete indication is not reasonable; on notice of an infringement we remove the link.
